Progeny Medical was founded in 2014 by Peter Douglas with a focus on eliminating the potential for chronic disease in patients and healthcare providers through innovative product design. Our approach examines therapeutic areas with high incidence of chronic disease and designs next generation products that can reduce or eliminate the potential for harm and increase Quality of Life.

Peter has 20 years of experience building and leading medical device product development organizations at fortune 500 medical device and pharmaceutical companies. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, has 22 patents granted, assigned or pending within multiple therapeutic areas and was awarded the 2013 Microsoft Life Sciences Innovation award.
